Micosoft(R) Excel is a powerful spreadsheet program and is probably one of my favorite applications.  Anytime you want columnar data, Excel’s is probably your best choice. It can be used as a rudamentary database, a layout for a time-scheduler and, of course, calculating and displaying numerical data.

I started using Excel years ago to lay out my schedule so my family could contact me anytime they needed to.
